For my honors contract, I participated in an external Case Challenge on top of the R440 Shiley Case. This case was with the Eisenberg Real Estate Challenge. The Eisenberg Challenge perfectly aligns with the ideology of a honors contact as, on the Honors College website, the first bullet point stating how to earn honors credit through an honors contract is "Completing an independent project that employs research methods taught in the course" This makes the Eisenberg Challenge perfect for the honors contract as it aligns with the development aspect of the class with appraisal skills sprinkled throughout! The Eisenberg requirement is to create a development plan focusing on a high-profile development/redevelopment project in the Chicago Metropolitan area. The development plan must be a comprehensive analysis and conclusion of how to maximize the potential of the property from a financial and feasibility standpoint.
